Managing User Directories
Learn how to manage user directories, including scaling, shrinking, and deleting them.
Introduction
After the user directory is created, management operations such as expansion, reduction, or deletion are supported.
Prerequisites
- The user directory has been created.
Scaling
- Log in to the management console.
- In the top navigation bar, click Products and Services > AI Computing Platform > AI Computing Platform to go to its overview page.
- In the left navigation bar, select Storage & Data Services.
- On the Storage & Data Services page, click More Actions > Expand Capacity in the upper right corner.
- In the expansion window that pops up, enter the storage quota and click OK.
Notice: The latest storage quota must be greater than the current quota.
Shrinking
- Log in to the AI computing platform.
- In the left navigation bar, select Storage & Data Services.
- On the Storage & Data Services page, click More Actions > Reduce Capacity in the upper right corner.
- In the pop-up shrink window, enter the storage quota and click OK.
Illustrate:
- Before reducing the capacity, you can delete unnecessary files to reduce the used capacity.
- The latest storage quota must be greater than the used capacity.
Deleting
- Log in to the AI computing platform.
- In the left navigation bar, select Storage & Data Services.
- On the Storage & Data Services page, click More Actions > Delete in the upper right corner.
- In the pop-up window, click OK.
Illustrate: If the current user directory is not empty, please save the data in time. Clear the user directory before deleting.
