Managing File Directories
Learn how to manage file directories, including moving, renaming, and deleting folders.
Introduction
The file directories in the user directory can be added, deleted, reordered, moved, and other management operations according to the actual needs of the user.
Prerequisites
- The user directory has been created and is in "Normal" status.
- There is already a folder in the file directory tree.
Move a Folder

Log in to the management console.

In the left navigation bar, select Storage & Data Services.

In the File Directory area, click More Actions on the right side of the folder to be moved and select Move Folder.

In the Move Folder window that pops up, select the target folder and click OK.
Rename a Folder

Log in to the management console.

In the left navigation bar, select Storage & Data Services.

In the File Directory area, click More Actions on the right side of the folder to be renamed and select Rename Folder.

In the Rename Folder window that pops up, enter the new folder name and click OK.
Delete a Folder

Log in to the management console.

In the left navigation bar, select Storage & Data Services.

In the File Directory area, click More Actions on the right side of the folder to be deleted and select Delete Folder.

In the pop-up window, click OK.
Notice: When you delete a folder, the files and subfolders in it will also be deleted. Please operate with caution.
